It may not be what some of the fans and lambs had wished from her, but Mariah has finally stood her ground and is finally releasing what she wants from within. 2012 has been a testing one for Mariah, while writing this throughout her pain of “Whitney’s “death and her husband being hospitalized, she emerges through and excels in putting it down on paper and dedicating it to all who need “to rise up and reach for the stars” As Mariah belts her way through the song, it features Rick Ross and Meek Mill “stand on your toes” with the diva. As they rap their way through a beautiful melody, Mariah is “oohing” her way through with her adlibs that make our hairs rise all over.  A song produced by JD and Brian Cox screams a breath of fresh air. The song may be a grower to some, but will be an instant hit to all as she “Goes and gets em”. Lyrically it is written beautiful, vocally it is sung from the soul, its melody screams beauty and her adlibs send chills to the listener’s spines. People are going to be emotionally attached to this beauty.  Could this be her 19^th number one? Who knows? This hit oozes “Mariah Carey” and screams hit. This song was made for Mariah to release. Inspirational with her roots, paving the way for any other RnB singer to return to the music scene and not be afraid to cross over.
