Attention AOL Music readers! To celebrate Women's History Month, we here at the site will be posting our very own "March Madness" type bracket. But instead of pitting basketball team against basketball team, we're having the ladies of pop music battle it out for the top title of "Most Influential Woman in Pop."
Our eleventh round grudge match features Mariah Carey vs. Kelly Clarkson. The past 12 months have been good to both ladies -- Kelly's album Stronger soared to the top of the charts while new mommy Mariah whipped fans into a frenzy after tweeting photos of herself in the studio working on new music. We love both of these divas ... this could be the toughest bracket yet!

NIck talk about Marriage to Mariah
Nick Cannon still can't believe his marriage to Mariah Carey is 'real'.
The 'America's Got Talent' host married the singer on the beach outside her home in the Bahamas on April 30 2008 and they have renewed their vows every year since, and Nick admits the ceremony helps him appreciate their union more.
He said: 'We get married every year; it's our thing. I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real!'
This year, the couple are planning an even bigger celebration because their twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe turn one on the same day, so the babies will be involved in the festivities, though Mariah and Nick are also setting aside quality time for one another.
Nick told Life Style magazine: 'It's gonna be big. So it's a family day.
'We'll celebrate with them during the day and just the two of us at night.'
Nick has suffered a string of health problems this year and following his recent diagnosis of having the autoimmune disease lupus nephritis, he is particularly thankful for his family.
He said: 'It goes to show you how much things can change. In tough times, you lean on family.'

Mariah Carey Tweets New Photo For American Dad
Mariah Carey stunned fans with a tweet and photo saying she was working on a voice over for the hit series "American Dad", we like we like.
As always Mariah looks stunning, but it will be very interesting to see what kind of small role Mariah will play, i am 100% sure, she will make us laugh.

Mariah, Jenny and 4 completed songs on new album.
Its been a very busy year for Mariah Carey and she does not seem to stop.
On www.sheknows.com, Mariah talks about the two new Jenny Craig videos she directed and how it was to work with amazing people.
Carey was happy to take a spin in the director's chair for Jenny. "Co-directing this video was wow, these women are so triumphant," she said. "People not letting go of their dreams -- that's a theme that really is close to my heart. I had a great time.
It was also reveled in the interview and we are not sure if its just a spin from the site or Mariahs own words but . Apparently Mariah reveled.
Mariah Carey also revealed that she's currently in the studio working on her next album and already has the first four songs done. We can't wait!
Yes yes we already knew this information, but its nice hearing it again :)

Introducing Lamb Of The Week
Here at Global Mariah Fans, we would like to introduce Lamb of the Week.
Basically all it is, is a shout out to our lambs/fans, who show their love and support to Mariah, every day on twitter, and do everything in their power, to support and give positivity to her.
Some weeks we may do prizes, some weeks we will do shout outs.
All we want is positivity and love be thrown around. However, with Lamb of the week, we want to make sure all of Mariah fans feel appreciated :)
Mariah Top Of The Mountain Concert
The superstar Mariah Carey will perform the legendary season closing concert at the high profile luxury ski resort of Ischgl, in the Austrian Tirol on Monday 30 April.

Ischgl's Top Of The Mountain concerts at the beginning and end of every ski season have become legendary for the big name stars they feature, including The Killers, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Pink, Alicia Keys and Tina Turner. The 2011-12 season was opened by Swedish pop duo Roxette at the end of November.
Mariah Carey will perform on the specially constructed open air stage at 2320m at Idalp, the ski hub area of Ischgl in the Paznaun Valley, and is expected to draw a crowd of 20,000 skiers, boarders and fans.
Mariah Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time. With an unprecedented record of eighteen #1 singles that rival all but The Beatles, she has made an indelible impact on the global music industry and audiences everywhere. Concert entry is free with a valid skipass (needed anyway to get up the mountain to the concert area) – one day skipass is 95 euros, two days is 125 euros and 3 days 128 euros.
Special accommodation and skipass packages are available via www.ischgl.comwhich has an accommodation search facility. For example, four nights' accommodation with breakfast, plus four day skipass is available from 272 euros per person.
The nearest airports to Ischgl are Innsbruck, Munich, and Zurich.

On March 1, 2012, Disney Cruise Line held the christening ceremony for the new Disney Fantasy cruise ship docked in New York Harbor. The two-party ceremony began with a musical show inside the ship’s Walt Disney Theatre hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris (that also featured comedian Jerry Seinfeld) and concluded in the ship’s atrium with Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs, actor/musician Nick Cannon, and his wife and godmother of the ship. Mariah Carey. Mickey and Minnie Mouse were also on hand to help christen the ship.

All set to make her grand return to the stage, Mariah Carey walked hand-in-hand with Nick Cannon inside of Gotham Hall in New York City on Thursday night (March 1).
Having steered clear of concert performances since late 2010 as she and Nick welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011, the "Glitter" gal looked svelte in a black ensemble as she readied to take part in the Plot Your Escape promo show.
Mariah Carey performed the following songs. Its Like That, Shake it Off, We Belong Together, Ill Be There, Touch My Body, Obsessed, Hero and Always Be My Baby.
