Mariah talks New Ballad

Thanks to Mariah Connection for the heads up.

Mariah spoke about her new ballad that she is excited about.

"I dont want to go into too much detail but I'm living for this new ballad that I just wrote," revealed Carey. "I'm working on it every day… something different. The babies are inspiring many moments of different types of songs and stuff."

Mariah is about to set New York City on fire and we're inviting you to be there with her!

On Wednesday, September 5th, Mariah will perform a mini-concert at the famous Rockefeller Plaza in NYC to kickoff the 2012 NFL season.

To win tickets and be a part of the limited audience in front of the stage, please e-mail TeamMariah@mariahcarey.com with the following details:

• Name
• Age
• Guest Name
• Guest Age
• Location
• What song do you want Mariah to perform and why?

Winners must be available to arrive and stay at the event from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on September 5th. Transportation and accomodation are not included.

Deadline for submissions is Monday, September 3rd at 12:00pm. Winners will be informed by e-mail shortly after.

Mariah will take the stage at 7:00pm and only one of her performances will be televised on the pre-game special at 7:30pm on NBC. We encourage fans to come show their support at the Rockefeller plaza even if they don't win tickets! The mini concert will be held outdoors and be able to be seen from all surrounding areas!
